It’s a challenging business, construction.
Our days are pretty lively. We’re either solving difficult technical issues, navigating around differing opinions, pushing to meet demanding timescales all the while concentrating on quality and delivering a super project.
It’s a stressful environment for sure.
The skills and confidence needed to excel and enjoy it don’t magically appear after doing some training.
What we all learn quickly is that there really is no substitute for experience.
So, with our young team’s development in mind we thought we would ask one of the best construction directors there’s been within the London fit out market to help mentor our senior team.
Frank Nefs spent 25 years leading some of the biggest and most successful construction teams in London.
It’s an old saying but Frank has probably forgotten more than any of us will ever know about construction and good delivery. A renowned straight talker who tackled the challenges of construction head on. Let’s face it, that’s a commodity in short supply nowadays! However, it’s vital, if building long term relationships and great project delivery are important to you; and to us they’re top priority!
